Come rain or shine there is so much to see and do in Cornwall. There are hundreds of places to visit, far too many to list. From castles, historic houses and gardens to beaches, zoos, fishing villages and churches.

For the more active there is paddle boarding, coasteering, surfing, kite surfing, gokarting, horse riding, golf football, fun pools and parks, bike riding, kayaking, canoeing and golf to name just a few. We can help you with obtaining theatre tickets, booking events or organising a group event here on the farm such as archery, lazer clay shooting and clay shooting

If you enjoy walking, there are numerous woodland and coastal walks and Tor View is on the 26-mile Saints’ Way walking route from Padstow to Fowey. If cycling is more your thing, bicycles can be hired from Padstow or Bodmin to help you complete the 25 mile Camel Trail from Padstow to Helland on the Moor. There is also a new set of cycle routes at Lanhydrock, (a fabulous national trust property in Bodmin) where bicycles can be hired and a great set of off track routes at Cardinham Woods, Bodmin.

Pencarrow House and gardens, with woodland trails, are also near Bodmin. Nearer the South coast, there is Restormel Castle in Lostwithiel and of course the famous Eden Project is just 10 minutes drive from Tor View and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, 30 minutes away. The Eden project houses the world’s largest global gardens and house plants from all around the world. Nearer to the farm is Luxulyan Valley which has a 650 feet long viaduct and at Goss Moor, there is a national nature reserve, which is the largest wetland and heathland in the south west.

We have plenty of leaflets in both properties giving you ideas of where to go and what to do.
